Hangul Chart Complete Guide
What is this Hangul Chart?
This chart is a reference tool that displays the basic letters (jamo) of the Korean alphabet, Hangul: 14 consonants (자음) and 10 vowels (모음). Each letter is shown with its romanized reading, and you can click any letter to see a stroke-order animation and hear the pronunciation. Whether you are new to Korean or reviewing the script, this tool helps you learn letter shapes, stroke order, and correct pronunciation in one place.
The chart is organized into two groups—consonants first, then vowels—making it easy to find and compare letters. The detail panel on the right shows stroke-by-stroke animation and writing tips, so you can practice the correct way to write each jamo.
How This Chart Works
The chart lists all 24 basic jamo in standard order, grouped by consonants and vowels. Click or tap a letter to load its details in the right-hand panel: the large character, romanization, animated stroke order, writing tip, and a play button for pronunciation. The stroke animation runs automatically when you select a letter; use the Replay button to watch it again.
Pronunciation uses your browser's speech synthesis in Korean (ko-KR), so no data is sent to external servers. For the best experience, use a modern browser that supports Korean speech.
